Companions is excited to extend an internship opportunity to a dynamic, highly motivated and talented young individual who possesses a strong academic background, a genuine passion for investing and strategy, and a keen analytical mindset. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn and contribute to our team.
As an intern, you’ll experience first-hand what it’s like to work with our in-house team at Companions. Depending on where your interests and expertise lie, you can work together with our legal, finance, strategy & operations or HR team. You’ll learn about all business aspects: from sales & marketing, to operations, legalities and finance. And you will be immersed in the wonderful world of Mergers and Acquisitions.

Your responsibilities will depend on the team you'll be joining, as we are open to internships in all our departments: Strategy & operations, legal, finance and HR. Some of your responsibilities could be:
- Work on new investment opportunities;
- Assist the team on ongoing due diligence;
- Conduct market research and screen potentially attractive sectors;
- Prepare presentations for internal and external use;
- Search for new profiles for our portfolio companies;
- Aid the team in their support of current portfolio companies.
You are the perfect fit if you…
- Are currently enrolled in a master course within engineering, economics, business, law, social sciences, HR or have recently graduated;
- Have an excellent academic track record;
- Are results-driven and motivated to go the extra mile;
- Want to achieve maximum impact and are hands-on;
- Work in a structured approach, and have the flexibility to quickly adapt;
- Have a high level of motivation;
- You are an out-of-the-box thinker;
- Are fluent in both spoken and written Dutch and English, French is a plus.
