As our Marketing & Innovation Consultant, you will be at the heart of driving strategic innovation for our clients, helping them to navigate the complexities of the digital age and emerge as leaders in their industries.
You’ll work together with our clients from various industries on strategic marketing consulting and interim management projects, both in innovation and broader marketing domains. You’ll continuously be supported by your client partner, counsellor and the experts from The House of Marketing and our other Customer Collective entities.
Your challenge:
Consulting work at the client
- Lead the development and implementation of customer centric innovation strategies (by applying Business Design Methodologies) to solve complex business challenges that align with client objectives and market opportunities.
- Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, technologies, and potential areas for innovation.
- Collaborate closely with clients and their internal teams to develop and refine innovative solutions, ensuring alignment with broader business goals and market needs.
- Facilitate ideation workshops to foster a culture of customer centricity and innovation within the client's team, guiding them through the process of conceptualising actionable innovation projects.
- Implement validation processes to assess the feasibility, market readiness, and potential impact of innovation strategies, refining them based on findings.
- Oversee the end-to-end management of innovation projects and the project team, from planning and execution to evaluation, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Measure and report on the impact of innovation initiatives.
Internal contribution at The House of Marketing
- Drive innovation within The House of Marketing by contributing to internal projects, initiatives, and research efforts aimed at enhancing our service offerings and methodologies.
- Contribute to the internal commercial initiatives of the team by collaborating on proposals and presentations showcasing our innovative capabilities and insights.
- Actively participate in knowledge sharing sessions, training workshops, and innovation challenges to foster a culture of creativity and continuous improvement.
- Stay ahead of trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies and enrich the team with your insights
Your profile:
- A business-related Master's degree or an equivalent in experience
- A broad or general/T-shaped (as we call it) marketing or innovation profile with business sense
- You’re open to work on broader marketing-related interim and/or consulting assignments as well.
- Demonstrated experience in innovation management (+5 years), strategy consulting, or a related field, with a deep understanding of the innovation process, from ideation to implementation and validation.
- Proven ability to lead ideation and strategy development sessions, turning creative ideas into viable, actionable projects.
- Solid background in market research and analysis, with the capability to discern and leverage market trends for strategic advantage.
- Strong project management skills, with a track record of managing complex innovation projects from inception through to completion.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging and influencing clients and stakeholders at all levels.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- English language skills required + French and/or Dutch
