Tasks
As an Innovation Engineer in the NVISO Labs team your responsibilities will include:
- Perform technical exploratory innovation activities (develop a technology prototype with the team, running a Proof-of-Concept in collaboration with our (internal) customers, etc.).
- Design, write, test and document software for use in cutting-edge security products & tools developed in NVISO Labs
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and methodologies into existing systems.
- Engaging in continuous learning and development to stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements.
- Providing technical mentorship and guidance to junior team members to foster a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Participating in brainstorming sessions and innovation workshops to contribute new ideas and solutions that address current and future cybersecurity challenges.
Requirements
- You are eligible for NATO Clearance.
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience in software or innovation engineering.
- A master's degree in computer science or a related technical field.
- Experience with Python and knowledge of additional programming languages.
- Understanding of fundamental software & infrastructure design principles.
- Experience with integrating new technologies and methodologies into existing systems.
- Strong testing, troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Basic knowledge of secure software design and security best practices.
- Excellent English communications skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills (oral & written) that enable effective work in a collaborative team environment (across the entire company).
