Description:
Hiring a mid-level ICT expert specializing in Linux and Kubernetes for the Operations department of the Client.
Context:
The role of the intermediate Linux Kubernetes expert is to set up and maintain several systems used by the Client.
This includes daily management of existing systems (backup and monitoring, incident resolution, etc.), as well as the design and implementation of major changes, new systems, and the removal of existing systems.
The primary focus for this role is on further developing Kubernetes as a platform for both purchased and in-house applications.
Knowledge and experience with Kubernetes platform management (on-premises) and deployment, orchestration, and container technology is therefore essential for this role.
The ICT expert will work within the LUNS IT operations team, a team responsible for managing all Linux systems, network equipment, and storage devices for LV. Knowledge and experience with Kubernetes and Linux are by far the most important for this role, but knowledge, experience, or interest in enterprise network and storage management is also considered a plus.

Technical competencies
must have:
- Demonstrable knowledge of and demonstrable experience (3 years) with setting up, upgrading, configuring and using a Kubernetes platform in an enterprise environment, preferably on-prem.
- Demonstrable knowledge of and demonstrable experience (3 years) with using Ansible configuration management in an enterprise environment.
Should have:
Demonstrable knowledge of and demonstrable experience with the following technologies are considered a plus:
- Linux system administration in an enterprise environment (preferably Suse Linux Enterprise Server)
- Linux scripting: bash, python, perl
- Build and release automation tools, such as Azure Devops Server.
- Monitoring: Elastic, Nagios
- Networking in an enterprise environment: Cisco ACI, Palo Alto firewalls, F5 Big IP.
- Storage in enterprise environment: NetApp AFF, HPE Alletra 9000, HPE Storeonce
Must have:
Demonstrable knowledge of and demonstrable experience (3 years) with the use of Ansible configuration management in an enterprise environment. - Medior (3.00 years)
