Housekeeper, M/F

SASMAR is looking for a meticulous and reliable full time Housekeeper to uphold the cleanliness and maintenance of a large private residence.

As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining an inviting and comfortable environment for the owners and guests. Your responsibilities will include a variety of cleaning tasks, errands and maintenance, ensuring that all areas are well-maintained.

This position is suited to an experienced female or male.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean designated areas, including bathrooms, kitchens, and recreational areas.
• Managing household supplies, organising indoor and outdoor spaces, and ensuring the property is well-maintained
• Errand running (post office, dry cleaning)
• Receiving parcels and postal mail, scanning and filing.
• Pet care and general garden maintenance
• Maintain equipment in good working condition.
• Report maintenance issues or damages, arrange and supervise repairs.
• Collaborate with to ensure all tasks are completed effectively.
• Assist in special cleaning projects or events as required.
• Supervise laundry, ironing/washing and assist when required.
• Food shopping and (optional) meal preparation.
• Provide a courteous and professional experience for guests.

• Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper in high-end homes or hotels is preferred
• Inherent ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality
• Strong attention to detail and a thorough approach to cleaning.
• Physical endurance and the ability to lift heavy objects.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
• Drivers license and references required.
• English speaking.
• Permission to live and work in Belgium.

This position is based at a private villa in Overijse, Belgium responsible to the property of a professional couple with a few easy to manage pets and gardens.

This is a live-out position, a car can be provided if necessary.
