Health and Safety Advisor

In a context of strong industrial growth, you will support the development of Safran Blades' activities by structuring and coordinating the HSE approach on site.
Currently in the process of maturing its safety culture, the company is seeking to strengthen its HSE rigour, improve field practices and ensure regulatory compliance in a demanding technical environment (foundry, presses, special processes). The site was inaugurated in early summer 2025.
Compliance & HSE Planning
- Support implementation and formalization of global Safety, Hygiene, and Well-being plan.
- Conduct and update risk assessments with Methods, Production, and Maintenance teams.
- Draft and deploy:
- Evacuation plans
- Safety instructions (internal & contractors)
- Site safety procedures (workstations, logistics flows, hazardous materials)
- Ensure compliance with Belgian Well-being Code, RGPT, and industrial safety requirements.
Operational Safety & Daily Management
- Organize HSE briefings for new hires, temporary workers, and external contractors.
- Monitor PPE usage and compliance (inspection, signage, training).
- Track incidents, near-misses, and deviations: reporting, root cause analysis (5M, cause tree), CAPA action plans.
- Maintain safety KPIs and report to internal stakeholders.
- Support safety meetings (CPP, steering committees).
Support for Industrialization Projects
- Ensure HSE integration in project teams.
Technical Environment
- Industrial foundry (hot/cold loop machines, SAB press, etc.)
- High-risk workstations: handling, heavy tools, heat, noise, technical fluids
- Multiple departments: special processes, measurement/control, product quality

Experience required
Master’s degree in Science, Engineering, HSE, or equivalent
Prevention Advisor Certificate Level 1 (Belgium) or experienced Level 2
5–8+ years in HSE / prevention in industrial environments (aeronautics, defense, energy, chemical, manufacturing)
Belgian & European safety, health, and environmental regulations
ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, OHSAS 18001 standards
Chemical management (REACH, CLP)
Risk analysis methods (FMEA, HAZOP, Job Safety Analysis)
Languages: Fluent French (spoken/written), technical English required
