GIS Consultant Role Summary:
The GIS Consultant will play a key role in integrating geospatial functionality into various applications at our clients site through Keystone Solutions. This includes supporting digital map visualizations, managing geo(web)services, and ensuring that spatial data is structured and accessible to meet internal and external user needs. This position operates within an agile/scrum environment and contributes to strategic and operational goals through strong governance and architecture as a Keystone Solutions consultant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Integrate GIS functionality into diverse applications
- Support geodata visualization via digital maps and geo(web)services
- Define and structure required data layers for user needs
- Conduct or coordinate business analysis for new GIS requirements
- Collaborate on the implementation of GIS solutions within agile project teams
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in geodatabase design
- Strong spatial analysis capabilities in GIS
- Familiarity with GIS solution architecture
- Knowledge of tools like ArcGIS, QGIS, PostGIS, FME, Python (ArcPy)
- Agile/Scrum project experience
