About the role
The FinOps Manager will play a critical role as the first point of contact for all things cash. You will be responsible for all cash in and cash out of the company including AR, AP, credit control, payroll, treasury and FX, including comprehensive bookkeeping. You will ensure transactional finance is operating smoothly adopting robust processes and workflows while leveraging technology (and AI) to support the company’s growth and the finance team’s analytical capability. This is an exciting role that role reports directly into the CFO.
Where and how you’d work
This role can be based in either Antwerp or London and is currently an Office-Mix Hybrid role. This means you would chat with your leader and team for the number of day you need to be together to collaborate and achieve outcomes in close proximity. This is often 1 - 2 days a week. The other days you have flexibility.

What you'll do in your first 6- 12 months
Consolidate bookkeeping across entities to reduce dependency on external accounts by 100%
Achieve a 90% reduction in manual data entry across AR, AP, and Payroll processes through system implementation and automation (e.g., automated invoice processing, expense management integration, payroll system optimisation).
Document all key financial operational processes (AR, AP, Payroll, Treasury, Bookkeeping), identifying and implementing continuous improvements to enhance scalability controls.
Help achieve a continuous close with no significant post-close adjustments needed.
Serve as the finance lead for the integration and optimization of operational finance systems (e.g., ERP, billing systems, payment gateways, expense management software).
Lead cash flow & risk management to improve DSO, automate the dunning process, establish FX policies and develope the company’s short and long term cash forecasting.
What You'll need
Core Finance Operations: Deep expertise in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, and comprehensive bookkeeping; Treasury and FX would be a plus
Process Improvement: Experienced in optimizing and automating financial systems (ERP, billing platforms, payment gateways, expense management tools); NetSuite, Spendesk, and TeamLeader would be a plus
Compliance & Controls: Strong understanding of internal controls and a commitment to ensuring finance operations adhere to regulatory requirements and company policies
Problem Solving & Analytical Thinking: Ability to diagnose operational issues, identify root causes, and propose practical, effective solutions. Strong numerical aptitude.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal teams and external partners
Adaptability & Scalability: Comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-growth Series B SaaS environment. Ability to design processes and systems that can scale with company growth.
