Position overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager with strong expertise in financial management, accounting, and tax compliance.
In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing all accounting and tax compliance activities for the allnex legal entities in Belgium and the Netherlands. This includes managing accurate and complete financial reporting and management accounts, ensuring compliance with all local tax regulations, overseeing local bookkeeping, and coordinating external audits. You will also support financial operations to ensure smooth business processes. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Controller Belgium and report directly to the Controller EMEA.

Responsibilities
- Responsible to prepare the monthly, quarterly and yearly closing and reporting according to IFRS, local GAAP for the legal entities in Netherlands and Belgium.
- Statutory financial reporting (Belgium GAAP and Dutch GAAP) and IFRS reporting (including IAS 12).
- Responsible for Belgium and Netherlands tax returns and annual accounts and ensure they are prepared in accordance with the deadlines and all taxes correctly accrued, paid and accounted.
- Manage Belgian transfer pricing compliance in collaboration with the allnex tax team and with external advisors.
- Ensure timely submission, accuracy, integrity & compliance of all financial reporting’s in accordance to regulations and internal policies.
- Responsible manager for internal and external financial audits and contacts.
- Contact with Bank and European Treasury (FX exposure).
- Management of the R&D claims process in strong collaboration with the R&D team.
- Assistance with the governance and implementation of dividends and restructurings.
- Representing finance and preparing financial data for the Belgian workers council meeting along with Auditors and Local management team.
- Provide support, analysis, business partnering and financial leadership to management, business or functional teams and support decision making.
- Ensure good cooperation with BE Controller whos responsibilities focus on the ongoing business activities (not legal reporting).
Required skills and experience
- 5+ years progressive experience working in a dynamic financial environment at the level of an internationally-active holding and manufacturing company, including the areas of financial reporting and fiscal accounting.
- Bachelor or Master degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
- Professional qualifications such as CPA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
- Demonstrated end responsibility within Finance and Tax reporting.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, Belgium and Dutch GAAP and Tax Law.
- Strong computer skills and experience with ERP systems (SAP).
- Excellent English and Dutch skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, paired with proven leadership and people management capabilities.
- Highly analytical and detail oriented and produce work of a high quality and integrity.
- Proven ability to develop new ideas and creative solutions as well as perseverance and willpower in order to get to the root of the problems.
