About the function
We are looking for a dynamic and analytical Finance Business Partner to strengthen our Finance team. This key role sits at the crossroads of finance and operations, ensuring that our cost structure remains lean and competitive. You will monitor and challenge costs, support data-driven decision making, and act as a financial sparring partner for the business. Your insights and critical thinking will help drive efficiency and enhance profitability across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the annual budgeting and rolling forecasting processes by contributing accurate data, sound financial logic, and strategic input.
- Monitor actuals versus budget and forecast, analyze variances, and provide clear, actionable insights to operational teams and leadership.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators and cost drivers, ensuring visibility and accountability across functions.
- Prepare and deliver monthly financial performance reports and dashboards, turning complex data into meaningful business insights.
- Serve as a Finance Business Partner by collaborating with departments to challenge assumptions, identify deviations, and support corrective actions.
- Participate in strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects, offering a strong financial perspective and business understanding.
- Lead the company cost optimization initiatives and actively support the costs procurement initiatives.
- Support the category and procurement teams with spend analysis and margin improvement opportunities, providing objective, data-driven insights.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data by supporting key accounting processes and reconciling critical data points.
- Maintain and continuously improve financial models, reporting tools, and systems to enhance efficiency and data reliability.
- Actively contribute to the ongoing improvement of financial processes, reporting standards, and internal controls..
Your Profile
- Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in a similar role (Finance Analyst, Business Analyst, Controller, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights.
- Advanced Excel skills; knowledge of BI tools and ERP systems is a strong asset.
- Collaborative and communicative, able to influence without authority.
- Critical thinker with a business-oriented mindset and a high sense of ownership.
- Fluent in French, Dutch & English.
