We are looking for a detail-oriented, hands-on and analytical General Ledger Accountant to temporarily support the Group Accounting Team. This role is participating in different General Ledger postings and executing the month-end and year-end close controls and processes across multiple entities within the group to ensure accurate Financial Reporting.

This role is participating in different General Ledger postings and executing the month-end and year-end close controls and processes across multiple entities within the group to ensure accurate Financial Reporting.
The assignment
Key Responsibilities:
- Control and reconcile general ledger accounts for multiple entities in accordance with local GAAP.
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
- Perform intercompany reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
- Provide financial data and analysis to support business decisions.
Required knowledge and skills
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of BEGAAP.
- Experience with SAP S4HANA
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to check your own work.
- Proficiency in Dutch or the ability to work in a Dutch-speaking environment is preferable.
