In the role of HV Supervisor, you will be part of the JDN management team on board the OSV, working for an inter-array cable installation project. The OSV is serving both the cable pull-in operations and termination & testing.
Your focus will be on supervising the T&T works on both the WTGs and the Offshore high voltage station. These works are executed by our T&T subcontractor.
You will coordinate the OSV deployment & location, the on board activities and operations on the WTG’s and Offshore platform in close cooperation with the JDN management teams on board & onshore.
You will be responsible for overseeing the deployment of T&T subcontractor teams, serving as the key interface manager between all stakeholders on site (T&T Subcontractor, JDN, End client, other contractors & teams on the project).
Your primary focus will be to ensure the safe, timely, and efficient execution of all T&T high-voltage cable works.
What you’ll do:
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent JDN on-site to oversee, coordinate, and report on cable routing, jointing, termination, and testing works (performed by Subcontractor) across the wind farm.
- Ensure full compliance with the ITP, Method Statements & Risk assessments.
- Participate in and contribute to daily project meetings
- Prepare & communicate the T&T and OSV schedule (mainly short term)
- Review and validate RAMS, QHSE documentation and component specifications to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
- Monitor and enforce site adherence to Safety procedures, -permits and -standards
- Supervise and verify together with JDN Quality teams the HV cable-related works, ensuring quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) of contractor deliverables.
- Record and submit Daily Progress Reports (DPRs) and raise Non-Compliance Reports (NCRs) as required.

Fault diagnosis, in case of a fault assist in the electrical test, inspection and make a correct assessment of the situation and report to the correct JDN project staff.
Assist with a repair plan, etc - Oversee & support the T&T & OSV logistical operations
- As a teamplayer, you will guide, support & share your experience & skill with the other JDN team members on board of the OSV.
- You will take the lead in drawing up Lessons learnt & End-of-work report for the termination & testing works.
- In case T&T works are temporary on hold (for some reason), you will show flexibility by helping out the project in assisting with other important tasks (not related to T&T works), as discussed with the JDN management team on board & onshore.
Core Competencies & Expertise:
- HV Cable Jointing & Termination (up to 275kV)
- Knowledge / training of Pfisterer 66Kv Seanex / Connex termination
- Knowledge / training of 66Kv T- Connector termination
- Authorised Person AP is a plus, there is no need to act in the role of AP on the project but essential to understand the switching procedures and permits of the client.
- Electrical Testing, Fault-Finding & Commissioning, such as but not limit to VLF, OTDR, TDR, sheath testing, Lira testing, phase ID, etc
- QA/QC & Non-Conformance Management
- RAMS / AWP Compliance & HSE Oversight
- Daily Reporting based on the information provided by T&T subcontractor.
- Team Supervision & Contractor Coordination
- Client & Project Stakeholder Liaison
Tools, Systems & Certifications:
- Competent in managing AWP systems, RAMS, and HV operational safety documentation
- Familiar with HV standards such as Cigre, IEEE, IEC standards and specifications
- Trained in offshore survival, GWO full, HV switching operations (if applicable)
