We are looking for a Digital Innovation Lead who is passionate about digital technologies, results-driven, and collaborative to join our Patient Supply Digital Transformation team, based at our UCB campus in Braine-l'Alleud, Belgium.
About the Role
As Digital Innovation Lead, you will lead high-impact digital innovation projects across the Patient Supply department of UCB, which covers CMC (Technical) Development, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain. Leveraging cutting-edge technologies like Advanced Analytics, Generative AI and Digital Twins, you will turn ideas into scalable solutions contributing to the transformation of our end-to-end processes.
Who You’ll Work With
You will collaborate with a dynamic team of peers and colleagues within the Patient Supply Digital Transformation team, across Patient Supply and beyond. Together, you will drive the definition and setup of our digital landscape and digital ecosystems, identify, prototype and deploy innovative solutions and continuously inspire the teams to challenge the status quo. You will also engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the transformation meets the needs of all parties, including patients.
What You’ll Do
- You’ll engage with stakeholders within Patient Supply to understand their challenges and define how advanced digital technologies, including Advanced Analytics, Generative AI, and Digital Twins, can address these needs.
- You’ll be responsible for the end-to-end leadership of digital innovation projects, ensuring they meet stakeholder needs and are delivered on time and with high quality.
- You’ll work closely with data and technology partners to ensure our foundations continuously evolve to support our digital ambitions, as well as enable rapid solution prototyping.
- You’ll constantly seek to create synergies across Patient Supply departments and beyond.
- You’ll scout for digital innovations relevant to UCB and Patient Supply.
Interested?
For this role, we’re looking for the following background and skills:
- Master’s degree in Engineering, IT, Science, or a relevant field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in deploying innovative digital solutions within the industry, with a preference for pharmaceutical environments.
- Proven track record of leading digital innovation projects from design through deployment, ensuring timely delivery and adoption.
- Expertise in advanced technologies such as Advanced Analytics, Generative AI, Digital Twins, and a continuous learning mindset to remain abreast of emerging trends.
- Strong communication skills are required, with fluency in English being essential. Proficiency in French is an additional advantage.
- Capability to effectively collaborate and exert influence across various functions and departments.
