Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!

Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!

Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job description

At Amaris Consulting, we are dedicated to delivering innovative solutions and exceptional service to our clients. We are currently seeking a talented Operational Excellence/Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our dynamic team, based in Belgium. In this role, you will be responsible for driving process improvements, fostering a culture of excellence, and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency, quality, and value across our clients’ operations.

Your Responsibilities:

• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence methodologies.
• Analyze current processes, identify inefficiencies, and develop action plans to optimize workflows and reduce waste.
• Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and Kaizen events to engage teams in improvement activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process changes and monitor their effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and performance metrics.
• Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress and sustain improvements.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement by sharing best practices and coaching team members.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all improvement activities.
• Engage with clients to understand their operational challenges and deliver tailored solutions.

Your Profile:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in operational excellence, continuous improvement, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies (certification is a plus).
• Proficient in data analysis, process mapping, and relevant improvement tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering measurable results.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and French (Dutch is a plus).
• Experience in facilitating workshops and driving cross-functional projects.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
• A proactive learner with a passion for innovation and operational excellence.
