What would the ideal candidate look like?
- University degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in the the construction field.
- Previous experience with large industrial projects.
- Proficiency in project management software, specifically MS Project.
- Strong command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
- Excellent MS Office skills.
- Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD systems.
- Exceptional communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated teamwork, integrity, and accountability.
- Willingness and availability for project-related travel and relocation.
What are the responsibilities?
- Take charge of diverse construction projects, overseeing them from inception to successful completion.
- Cultivate strong relationships with various stakeholders, including industrial clients, vendors, contractors, and external organizations, ensuring open lines of communication.
- Actively contribute to a collaborative team environment, facilitating effective teamwork.
- Thoroughly plan projects, including scheduling, deliverable management, and cost estimation.

- Ensure that projects adhere to all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements.
- Maintain a vigilant focus on on-site and off-site safety, enforcing adherence to safety standards.
- Monitor and report on contractual performance, ensuring all parties meet their obligations.
- Continuously review daily work progress and make adjustments as necessary to keep projects on track.
- Prepare thorough internal and external reports, offering insights into project status and addressing any concerns.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with construction projects to ensure successful outcomes.
- Uphold stringent construction standards and proper techniques through a robust quality control program.
- Monitor project costs diligently, taking proactive measures to optimize expenses while maintaining quality.
- Assist in contract negotiations to secure favorable terms and conditions in line with organizational objectives.
