SGS Pharma carries out all type of services for pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, from coordination and running of clinical trials with new molecules or techniques on human beings, to support and consultancy on post marketing registration activities. SGS Pharma has also expertise in the quality control of pharmaceuticals.
We currently have an interesting opportunity for a Clinical Trial Assistant (CTA).
Job Description
The key purpose of the role is to assist the clinical project team in its day-to-day business.
Working in a team environment, this position requires you are used to working close together with your team, your colleague CTA’s as well as with other departments and clients.
The position will be based in Mechelen and contains the following:
- General administrative assistance to the Project Team (Project Manager/CRAs)
- Preparing, updating, follow-up of electronic filing of clinical trial related documents
- Preparing of study binders for site use
- Correspondence with internal and external clients (mainly in English)
- Attending team meetings, writing meeting minutes and/or reports
- Arranging investigator meetings, general meetings
- Arranging international travel
- Entering, updating and tracking of records in the Clinical Trial Management System
- Attending site visits to assist CRA in study binder review

Qualifications
- You have a bachelor’s degree ‘Medical/Administrative assistant’ or equivalent by relevant experience
- You have very good knowledge of Dutch and excellent knowledge of English
- You have good communication skills
- You have good organizational skills
- You have a profound knowledge of Microsoft Office
- You are interested in using multiple databases
- You are a real team player
- You are precise and have a great eye for detail
- Clinical experience as well as eTMF experience is a plus!
