Job Description
Fluvius is looking for a Business (Informatie) Analyst to support Netbeheer by analyzing, modeling, and optimizing business and asset information particularly in the GIS system. The role involves translating business needs into structured information and supporting strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and model uniform Fluvius (asset) information, focusing on GIS systems
- Support Fluvius' Data and Information platform to ensure data consistency and availability
- Collaborate with stakeholders to capture and convert business needs into functional requirements
- Provide insights for decision-making through structured analysis and reporting
- Advise information owners on quality and governance
- Drive optimization and best practices in data management
- Support project roles (facilitator, member, leader) in high-impact initiatives
- Ensure documentation clarity and compliance
- Facilitate communication, training, and onboarding related to business processes
- Stay updated on trends in Data Governance and Asset Management
Required Skills (Must-Have)
- 3+ years’ experience as a business analyst
- Experience in information analysis and modeling
- Dutch fluency – CEFR level C2
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Prince II in large organizations
- BPM process experience
- Demonstrated experience applying business analysis in high-impact projects (user base > 50)
Nice to Have (Should-Have)
- Experience with GIS systems
- Stakeholder management
- Data Governance / Data Analytics / BI tools experience
- Experience in utility sectors (electricity, gas, heat, sewage)
