Assistant F&B Manager – Moxy Brussels City Center

We are looking for a experienced Assistant F&B Manager who likes to train people and knows everything about F&B standards and inventory. You will help the different Heads of Departments to supervise our outlets (restaurant, hotel, bar and grab and go) to guarantee quality of service. It is an operational position where you will have to work different shifts in mornings, evenings and weekend days.
Your main responsibilities are:
- Monitoring daily operations of the Restaurant The Fifty One and our F&B outlets in the hotel (bar, grab and go)
- Bring the service and kitchen team together to ensure smooth communication and efficient execution of services
- Prepare and monitor the schedule for your team
- Respond to groups offers and generic email for the restaurant
- Handle complaints, and learn your team what would be good reasons to give something complimentary
- Update food offers and the menu based on seasons and availability together with the chef and the kitchen team
- Ensuring the freshness and quality of the products by keeping track of the orders and the inventory
- Monitor food & Beverage costs in line with budget and maintain inventory
- Analyze sales performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Train our staff to our service standards, food safety procedures and customer best practices
- Encourage professional development in the team together with the other managers
- Ensure compliance with all food health and safety standards as well as local regulations and check on cleanliness of our operations daily
- Help manage our social media by promoting our activities and catering offerings
