Introduction
We are looking for a highly skilled Architect Dynatrace to lead the design, deployment, and optimization of our enterprise-wide monitoring and observability strategy. This role requires deep technical expertise in Dynatrace and related performance monitoring tools, combined with strong architectural vision to support complex, hybrid IT environments. The successful candidate will act as the key reference for monitoring best practices, ensuring system reliability, performance, and proactive issue detection across all platforms.
Responsibilities
Design and define the Dynatrace architecture for enterprise-scale environments, covering on-premise, cloud, and containerized infrastructures
Lead the deployment strategy of Dynatrace agents, ActiveGate, and integrations across multiple business units and environments
Establish observability standards and best practices, including KPIs, alerting thresholds, and data retention policies
Integrate Dynatrace with complementary platforms (e.g., ITSM, CI/CD, log management, cloud monitoring services)
Collaborate with infrastructure, development, and DevOps teams to ensure end-to-end visibility of applications and services
Automate provisioning and configuration of Dynatrace using Infrastructure-as-Code (Ansible, Terraform) and API-driven workflows
Define and oversee governance models for dashboard creation, alerting, and access controls
Conduct capacity planning and architecture reviews to ensure scalability and resilience of the monitoring solution
Provide technical leadership on Dynatrace capabilities, training, and adoption across the organization
Stay ahead of industry trends to recommend enhancements to the monitoring ecosystem and maintain alignment with business objectives

Essential skills:
Proven experience as a Dynatrace Architect
Expert knowledge of Dynatrace components and capabilities, including OneAgent, ActiveGate, Smartscape, PurePath, DQL, Davis AI, and custom dashboards
Strong background in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker)
Deep understanding of application and infrastructure architecture (microservices, serverless, hybrid environments)
Experience integrating Dynatrace with ITSM, CI/CD pipelines, log management, and alerting platforms
Proficiency in automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible) and API-based integrations
Solid understanding of networking, security, and performance engineering principles
Scripting ability in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and custom monitoring tasks
Ability to design governance frameworks for monitoring, including role-based access, dashboard standards, and alerting policies
Proven track record in capacity planning, scalability, and optimization of monitoring solutions
Languages:
Fluent French and English, or English and Dutch
Nice to Have:
Certifications in Dynatrace, AWS/Azure/GCP, Kubernetes, or DevOps tools
Familiarity with OpenTelemetry and modern observability practices
Knowledge of ITIL, SRE, or PCI DSS compliance frameworks
Personal Attributes:
Strategic thinking with the ability to design scalable, future-proof monitoring architectures
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive, results-oriented mindset
Strong collaboration and leadership abilities to drive adoption across multiple teams

Fluent French and English, or English and Dutch
