Johnson & Johnson is recruiting an AI/ML Senior Scientist to join the Drug Discovery Data Science organization to be located at Beerse, Belgium or Springhouse, US.
Intelligent Automation refers to the bidirectional coupling between automated lab equipment and A rt ificial Intelligence (AI) . Through successive iterations, s uch close d- feedback loop systems facilitate the AI-driven design, execution an d analysis of experiments and utilize a wealth of in silico methodologies .
Within the Drug Discovery D ata S ciences organization of Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine we have a n open position for a Chemometrician with strong AI/ML ex pertise at the level of senior scientist that will play a pivotal role in our strategic effort to integrate AI /ML analytics with online and offline data production systems for both small and large molecules. To do so, the new member will collaborate within interdisciplinary teams comprising biologists, medicinal chemists, data scientists , computational chemists and IT experts across all therapeutic areas .
Role and r esponsibilities
Drive current efforts to introduce review by exception, online QC and advanced analytics in both online and offline wet labs .
Develop and product ionize in silico suites , using AI/ML and other appropriate modelling methodologies , to tackle chemo metrics problems in different settings.
Actively participate in evaluation of third-party solutions , proposing PoCs , benchmarks etc.
Work closely with IT , engineering and Lab-tech to implement solutions.
Communicate results in audiences with heterogeneous background.
Requirements
A PhD in chemometrics that reflects expertise in AI/ML methods .
Experience with chemical and/or biological data.
K nowledge of Python development and affinity with AWS (or similar cloud environments) .
Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
