Logistics Administrator

We are recruiting a Logistics Administrator to be located in Mechelen.

Biocair is an expert in temperature-controlled life sciences logistics, having been providing pharmaceutical professionals, researchers and scientists with industry-leading cold chain solutions for over 35 years. We move time and temperature sensitive shipments which really make a difference to people’s lives be that through vaccines or our growing Cell & Gene Therapy business and with approximately 550 employees we operate globally across more than 160 countries, via multiple locations and are opening more each year. The role:

To perform and complete daily operational tasks in compliance with all relevant regulations and the targets of the Company as part of the logistics team dealing with administration and document processing for the dispatch of consignments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all consignments on the intranet are completed with the correct information in accordance with the operations checklist in order for the Finance department to invoice the customer correctly first time.

  • Logistics, Courier or Freight forwarding experience
  • International import/export and customs experience


  • Bonus – eligibility for a discretionary annual company bonus scheme. Further details will be provided with any offer of employment but the language to use is an “on target 14% discretionary performance related bonus.
  • Pension – Executives get 4% from employer and need to contribute 2%. Non executive get 2.5% contribution from employer and do not need to contribute Holiday - 25 days holiday per year. Holiday year is January to December.

  • 2800 Mechelen: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
