We are looking for an experienced Project Manager who likes to keep in touch with the technical side of the job by actively developing projects alongside with the other developers. We strive for a good balance between these tasks depending on the workload.
Key Responsibilities
- Create the work-breakdown and estimation for prospect offers
- For ongoing projects, you take the full technical ownership of the project itself in an agile way
- Create the project plan, making sure people are planned effectively and follow-up on deadlines
- Project execution facilitation: project kick-off, project setup, arrange designs, functional analysis and technical analysis, customer status meetings and sprint demo’s
- Arrange testing & high-quality deliveries
- Communicate with, assist and motivate the team
- Keep clients in the loop about the project progression vs. estimated hours
- Be the single point of contact for every non-business related profile within the project
- Inform the account manager of every (direct / indirect) scope change or opportunity
- Inform the account manager of every urgent business critical issue that arises during a project
- Keep an eye on the integration of the Verhaert Digital culture and guide team members where needed
- Implement and improve the Verhaert Digital project flow and development workflow
Your Profile
- Experience: 3+ years of professional project management in software projects/products, with a strong background in software development.
- Technical qualifications:
- Master's or Bachelor's degree
- Multidisciplinary but high-level knowledge of programming languages (frontend/backend/embedded)
- Expert knowledge of software design patterns
- Experience with CI/CD flows
- Knowledge of infrastructure (AWS, Azure) and databases is a big plus
- Competences:
- Minimum 3 years experience as a digital PM
- A natural born multitasker
- Thinking in solutions, not in problems. (Problem solver)
- The terms ‘Scrum’ and ‘Agile’ are no stranger to you.
- Stress resistant and a hands-on mentality.
- Flexibility is your middle name.
- Bonus points:
- Hands-on experience in AI projects and a healthy interest in AI.
- Experience with Atlassian, Slack & the Google suite is a plus.
- Dutch and English are both mandatory (French is a plus)
- EU citizenship or permanent Belgian Working permit are also mondatory.
