Join the dynamic Supply Chain Department at Terumo EMEA, where we bring together Supply Chain Planning, EDC Warehousing, Transport, and EMEA Customer Service into a cross-functional, end-to-end global partnership. Our mission is to ensure seamless product availability and customer satisfaction across the region.
Job Summary
As part of the Terumo Supply chain team, the main responsibility of the Supply Chain Specialist is to support the supply chain process and to secure the product availability.
Job Responsibilities
1. Inventory Optimization
- Maintain optimal stock levels aligned with business strategy and customer service targets, considering EDC Genk and supplier lead times.
- Foster collaboration with SOP, Sales, Marketing, 3PL, and EDC Genk to ensure product availability.
- Coordinate with Customer Service and Sales to align supply with customer demand.
- Partner with TE Demand Planner and Commercial teams to identify and resolve supply and inventory risks.
- Proactively manage inventory across EDC/TESA warehouses and South Africa locations, minimizing write-offs and meeting KPIs.
- Work closely with 3PL to ensure SLA compliance, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Provide analytical reports to 3PL based on business requirements
2. Supply Optimization
- Collaborate with TE Demand Planner to enhance supply planning.
- Organize and lead supply review meetings.
- Monitor and report KPIs, perform root cause analysis, and propose corrective measures.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
3. Continuous Improvement
- Support special projects focused on process improvement.
- Identify and implement enhancements to departmental performance and efficiency.
Profile Description
To succeed in this role, we’re looking for a motivated and adaptable professional with a strong technical foundation and a collaborative mindset. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and bring a proactive, solution-oriented approach to your work. Specifically, you bring
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management, Economics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a solid command of SAP (required), with a willingness to work with various digital tools and systems.
- A strong sense of ownership and an action-oriented mindset.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data.
- A team-oriented attitude, combined with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Flexibility and resilience under pressure.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders.
- Proven experience in supply chain management, planning systems, and logistics operations.
- A natural ability to lead by example and share knowledge with peers.
- Very good command of English, both written and spoken.
