Role Overview
We are looking for a SEO Specialist to join team.blue Group Marketing team. In this role, you’ll work closely with marketing teams across more than 20 countries in Europe to develop and drive SEO & GEO strategies that accelerate organic growth across multiple brands.
This is a key role requiring both deep SEO expertise and strong stakeholder management skills. Your ability to influence, motivate, and follow through is essential to succeed in the role.
Key Responsibilities
As an SEO Specialist, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Conduct in-depth SEO audits (technical, on-page, off-page, content, backlinks) and deliver actionable recommendations tailored to each brand and market.
- Go beyond standard audits by providing strategic guidance rooted in advanced SEO knowledge and business understanding.
- Build and manage an SEO roadmap in collaboration with local marketing teams, aligning initiatives with their resources, capabilities, and goals.
- Ensure follow-through and execution of SEO recommendations, working closely with stakeholders to overcome blockers.
- Communicate progress, results, and priorities to internal teams and senior leadership through clear, data-driven reporting
- Stay ahead of industry trends, algorithm updates, and SEO / GEO developments to identify new opportunities
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on SEO experience, ideally in a multinational or multi-brand environment.
- Proven track record of owning SEO strategy and driving measurable growth across different markets.
- Success in a similar SEO specialist role, ideally in a tech and/or SaaS company.
- Deep knowledge of all SEO pillars: technical, content, and off-site/link-building.
- Proficiency in tools like Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Majestic, or similar.
- Exceptional stakeholder and project management skills. You know how to influence without authority and keep momentum across diverse teams.
- Fluent English, additional EU languages such as Italian, Dutch or German are a plus.
- Highly data-driven, autonomous, and results-oriented with a strong bias for action.
