Job Description

Requirements:

1. Architectural Vision and Elaboration
- Defining the architectural vision for an Odoo-based ERP system in alignment with an organization's business goals
- Identifying and mitigating architectural risks during the early stages of ERP implementation
2. Development and Enhancement of Architecture
- Experience with customizing and extending Odoo's architecture. 
- Ensure scalability and performance optimization when designing or enhancing an Odoo ERP system
3. Analysis of Information Systems Portfolio
- Analyze an organization’s existing information systems portfolio before proposing an Odoo ERP solution
- Integrate Odoo with legacy systems while maintaining data integrity and minimizing disruption to operations
4. Business Process Analysis 
- Map an organization’s business processes to Odoo’s modules
- Resolving a gap between business requirements and system capabilities
- Business process re-engineering when implementing Odoo using methodologies
5. Corporate Data Flow Analysis 
- Ensure that corporate data flows are accurately represented and optimized within an Odoo ERP system
- Designing data security and compliance measures for sensitive information managed in Odoo
6. Project Leadership and Communication
- Manage cross-functional teams to align on Odoo implementation or enhancement projects
- Effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
7. Problem-solving and collaboration
- Handling the situation and ensure a positive outcome

 Nature of the main tasks 

• Responsible for development and maintenance of software applications
• Development of front-end and/or back-end website applications
• Development and integration of software components Implement core business logic
• Creation of servers and databases for functionality Understanding and implementation of security and data protection
• Production of technical documentation Systems integration
• Assistance with deployment and configuration of the system
• Mentoring and supervising Developer Consultants Cross-platform optimisation
• Design responsive applications Design and develop APIs
• Participating in the design and creation of scalable software
• Taking lead on projects, as needed Maintenance of code integrity and organisation
• Writing clean, functional code on the front-end and/or back-end
• Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues

Qualifications

• Education Level:
  A secondary school diploma (12 years of education) and relevant certifications are required for all technical profiles.
  • Please note: One year of relevant study is considered equivalent to one year of professional experience. A period of time can count only once (either as studies or as professional experience).
• Language Skills: English at C1 level minimum.
• Work Environment: International and multicultural environment.
• Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
• All consultants will need to have a base with DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines. Please mention it explicitly on the CVs (mandatory requirement).

Important Notes:

• CVs must be presented in Europass format and in English.
• The CVs should clearly highlight the candidate's experience and the technologies used.
• The consultant needs to be available for interview within 10 working days after the submission of proposal.
• The client requires the consultants to go onsite 3 days a week (Mondays and Thursdays are mandatory in the office). Please note that remote work from abroad is not permitted. All consultants need to live/relocate to Belgium.
• Please note that all consultants are required to obtain a Personal Security Clearance. Before starting the assignment, they will need to proof the initiation of the procedure.
• Non-EU consultants won’t be accepted.

Please note that for level 5, certifications are mandatory (at least one of the list stated in the job description). The consultants need to have at least 11 years of professional experience.
