Senior Business Analyst – Public Sector (ENG + FR + DU)
Location: Brussels, Belgium
Remote Work Possibility: Hybrid (2 days remote per week)
Type of Contract: Permanent Contract preferably
Mandatory Languages: ENG + Dutch + French (C1 level minimum)
Eligibility: Candidates must possess European nationality mandatory
Key Requirements:
5+ years proven experience in business analysis
Experience in projects involving public administration is a plus.
Skilled in stakeholder engagement, especially in complex, multi-actor environments.
Strong command of tools like JIRA, Confluence, BPMN, or equivalen
Strong documentation skills: epics, user stories, BPMN diagrams, process flows, functional specs.
Ability to navigate regulatory and legal contexts while supporting technology delivery.
Able to work both autonomously and collaboratively in a dynamic, mission-critical setting.
Familiarity with agile or hybrid project methodologies.
Mandatory Languages: Bilingual proficiency in Dutch and French (spoken and written).

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, define, and refine business requirements
Map current and future state business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement
Translate business needs into user stories, functional specifications, and other documentation needed for developers and testers.
Coordinate with developers, testers, and product owners to ensure smooth delivery of digital solutions.
Support the project manager with scope definition, risk identification, and quality assurance activities.
Engage with end users and legal experts to ensure the platforms comply with national and EU legal frameworks.
Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions to align priorities and validate proposed solutions.
Drive continuous process improvement by introducing analysis best practices and contributing to internal knowledge development.
