With our continuing global expansion Cigna IOH has an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and driven Senior Bid Manager to join our Bid Delivery Office. You’ll have a flexible attitude and be used to working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects, and able to plan your time effectively to meet challenging deadlines.
Reporting to the Head of Bid Delivery, you will be responsible for effectively managing the Bid process from start to end including accurate and timely completion of Cigna Information Protection redirects, questionnaires and IOH bids for a wide range of current and potential clients.
Working alongside key business stakeholders, including; Sales Managers, Client Managers, Executive Sponsors, Senior Bid Managers (SBM), Bid Managers (BM) and other key contributors & experts, you will be tasked with providing bid management, stakeholder management and time management to the team at all times.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Creation and management of bid’s; ensuring that approach is clear and all key deliverables, milestones & timelines have been identified and planned
- Understanding the sales life cycle and how it all fits together; from opportunity pipeline tracking to delivering best in class RFP submission
- Understand the roles and responsibilities required for each bid lifecycle, including Senior Bid Manager, Subject Matter Experts (SME), Authors & Reviewers
- Facilitate communication across all business stakeholders, and third parties to ensure complete transparency of Bid status and delivery plans
- Manage sign off processes with key business stakeholders prior to bid submission
- Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure submissions are made on time and to the required quality
- Work with SME’s across the business to ensure accurate completion of due diligence, supplier questionnaires, vendor forms and onboarding documentation
- Facilitate communication across all business stakeholders, and third parties to ensure complete transparency and visibility of Bid status and delivery plans across the entire team
- Support Head of Bid Delivery with pipeline management, call scheduling with SME’s and Outlook mailbox monitoring where required
- Continued SharePoint site maintenance, content owner database maintenance, follow-up with SME’s and create ad-hoc reports where required
