A DAY IN THE LIFE:
As a Marketing and Sales Administrator, your Primary activities include the coordination of sales onboarding of new hires, processing POs and contracts, logistical coordination of sales and/or marketing meetings as appropriate and processing third-party event requests. Secondary activities include specialized administrative support to Brand Operations management.
Coordinates activities between departments and outside parties, including vendors. Works with company personnel at all organizational levels to execute tasks. Work is generally of a critical or confidential nature.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supports new field sales employees with onboarding process by creating CRM records and shipping marketing materials.
- Provides on-site support for sales training classes and sales management meetings.
- Provides a wide variety of administrative support for both Country and sales management and the field sales team. Gathers and assembles information from a variety of sources, and prepares reports, manuals, agendas, correspondence and memoranda as needed.
- Works with Finance and Purchasing departments to ensure all Marketing check requests, credit card purchase forms and invoices are approved per the company’s accounting policy and submitted in a timely manner while maintaining proper back up documentation.
- Be the first point of contact for general inquiries and contact to Tandem Benelux.
- Tracks budgets for Marketing department and provides updates to Finance as needed.
- Organizes and maintains ordering process for sales supplies and marketing collateral for the entire field team.
- Compiles and keys in monthly supply orders into CRM database.
- Coordinates the Tandem demo pump pool for the field sales team including shipping pumps, tracking returns and documenting in CRM as appropriate.
- Facilitates teamwork by organizing project kickoffs, co-creation sessions, departmental planning, and promotion of cross-functional alignment.
- Plans project processes and timelines to guide department resource management
- Builds relationships with and supports the interests of all stakeholders, while objectively managing brand project and task priorities.
- Administers brand experience and creative task assignments and schedules using project management software.
- Supports platform publishing and content management of brand creative assets.
- Documents all interactions and calls into the CRM system in accordance with QA/RA and appropriate guidelines.
- Confirms completion of required training plan before assuming job responsibilities.
- Continuously seeks to improve systems, evaluates processes and methods and recommends best practices.
- Provides feedback to management team on an as-needed basis.
- Ensures work is performed in compliance with company policies including Privacy and other regulatory, legal, and safety requirements.
- Additional duties as assigned by management.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Able to effectively share information related to work product in verbal and written form.
- Able to contribute to the team by supporting the acceptance of new team members.
- Demonstrated ability to work accurately and with initiative, and handle multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
- Able to work independently, yet be a team player.
- Proficient in Dutch, French and English.
