We offer an innovative academic education to more than 20000 students, conduct pioneering scientific research and play an important service-providing role in society. We are one of the largest, most international and most innovative employers in the region. Infla-Med focuses on inflammatory diseases by investigating common pathophysiological mechanisms that are potential targets for clinical application. To this end, Infla-Med focuses on three pathophysiological mechanisms: cell death signaling, barrier function, and immune modulation. Disruptions in these processes can induce inflammation and eventually disease. It prioritizes advanced preclinical research and personalized medicine, leveraging strong in-house expertise and infrastructure that spans the full biomedical research chain—from basic science to drug and biomarker development. Infla-Med emphasizes translational impact by integrating clinical expertise and promoting collaboration between researchers and clinicians to accelerate bench-to-bedside innovation. Finally, the center seeks to enhance its global impact by fostering strategic partnerships with leading research institutions and centers of excellence in related fields. Through these efforts, Infla-Med has positioned itself as a key player in tackling unmet medical needs in inflammation and associated diseases. Within this new framework, we are seeking to fill a vacancy (100 %) for a
