You’ll be stepping into a critical role with a European systems integration project, focused on the creation, review and finalization of project proposals while providing project governance support
This is an in office role with up to a €70/hour rate and a well-defined scope, initially on a 3-month engagement.
As a Proposal Development & Governance Associate, you will help shape compelling, well-structured proposals aligned with our clients strategic objectives. Collaborating closely with subject matter experts, you’ll gather essential insights and data to support strong, competitive submissions. Your input will directly influence the success and sustainability of our clients projects, making this an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on structured thinking, collaboration, and delivering high-quality outcomes.
Your Tasks will include:
- Support the creation, review, and finalization of project proposals.
- Ensure proposals are thorough, well-structured, and align with organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to collect necessary insights and data.
- Oversee and manage the AUC process to ensure timely completion and accurate documentation.
- Deliver regular updates on AUC progress and activities.
- Ensure adherence to organizational policies and governance standards.
- Organize and support governance meetings by preparing agendas, presentations, and minutes.
- Assist in implementing governance policies, procedures, and standards.
- Track and report governance metrics and performance indicators.
- Prepare detailed reporting binders for portfolio and project status reviews by senior leadership.
- Simplify technical updates into clear, engaging messages tailored for stakeholders.
- Maintain effective communication with internal teams and external partners.
- Provide concise documentation of workflows, decisions, and recommendations.
- Monitor and enhance project management processes; report on key metrics, flag anomalies, and support corrective actions.
To be a good fit for the Proposal Development & Governance Associate position you will have:
- Possess higher vocational training in a relevant field with 3+ years of related experience, or a secondary education with 5+ years of related experience.
- Demonstrate extensive expertise in customer management, including creating, preparing, and handling customer offers and orders.
- Exhibit knowledge or experience in project, portfolio, and program management (P3M).
- Be highly proficient in MS Excel, including PivotTables, external data connections, and Macros.
- Show strong skills in MS PowerPoint and advanced proficiency in SharePoint.
- Display solid knowledge of other Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Access, and OneNote.
- Possess exceptional written and verbal English communication skills, with proven ability to convey information effectively.
- Translate technical updates into compelling narratives aligned with PMO activities.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, responding thoughtfully to both internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
- Hold a formal project management certification such as PRINCE2, PMP, or ITIL Intermediate Level.
- Have prior experience in customer relationship management processes.
- Bring a background in international environments, including military and civilian collaboration.
- Understand NATO responsibilities, structure, and components like ACO and ACT.
