We currently have a vacancy for a Project Manager fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.
Your tasks:
- Manage the implementation of information systems testing activities, acquiring and using the necessary resources and skills, within agreed parameters of cost, timescales, and quality;
- Give proposals for project testing strategies, planning, definition of tasks and deliverables, review of deliverables, quality control, status reports, problem reporting and management systems;
- Guide the team in charge of testing activities and review their deliverables;
- Participate in functional working groups and progress meetings;
- Estimate costs, timescales and resource requirements for the successful completion of each test sessions;
- Prepare and maintain quality plans and tracks activities against the plan, provide regular and accurate reports;
- Manage the change control procedure gaining agreement for revisions to the project from project sponsors.
Requirements
- University degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of 15 years;
- At least 10 years of expertise in Agile methodology, Scrum Management, Lean agile;
- At least 10 years of expertise in Meeting Facilitation and knowing project aspects;
- At least 10 years of expertise in reporting methods;
- At least 10 years of expertise in knowing project management tools e.g. MS Project, Microsoft Excel and knowledge in confluence and Jira;
- At least 5 years of expertise in project management standards and methodologies (Project Scheduling, Strategic Planning, Financial Modelling, Budgeting, Forecasting, Performance Tracking);
- Certification of Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2 Foundation/PRINCE2 Practitioner, PM2 would be considered an asset;
- Excellent command of the English language.
