Job Purpose
Applying, studying, testing and implementing changes, cost reductions, optimisations and standardisations to existing transmissions in order to deliver technically superior and cost-effective products to the customer. Efficiently intervening in cases of non-conformity in order to continuously optimise business results.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Activity area 1: non-conformities
Take appropriate action regarding scrap, rework, field campaigns, etc. in order to deliver products that meet customer expectations and achieve optimal business results.
Activity area 2: Product selection
Manage core and non-core products in order to make products available to customers that fit within the DANA strategy.
Activity area 3: Improvement activities, optimisations
Set up improvement projects for the products in order to increase DANA's efficiency (cost, standardisation) and customer satisfaction.
Activity area 4:
Managing and implementing a number of projects, working groups, etc. in order to achieve the objectives set in terms of cost reduction, improvements and efficiency gains.
Activity area 5:
Ensuring clear communication and specification of possibilities and any expected results, building and applying technical expertise.
