At Dornan we are currently recruiting for a Procurement Lead to work on a hyperscale datacentre project based in Mons, Belgium.
This role is a fixed term contract.
Your day to day will include:
- Ensure that responsible Procurement is delivered across the project by developing and supporting the project delivery team whilst remaining aligned to the groups targets and objectives
- Ensuring a robust and structured supply chain exists and is correctly deployed in support to successfully deliver projects
- Support implemented management approach within the sector to leverage spend and performance whilst staying aligned to group strategies
- Support the drive towards ESG, including SME development, social value creation, zero carbon solutions, promoting safety.
- Promote collaboration between the business and the supply chain to unlock value through innovation and best practice
- Ensure all governance is followed and adhered to, making sure the business is not exposed to unnecessary risk and effective performance management of the supply chain is undertaken
- Work closely with the Central Procurement function to ensure compatibility between activities of respective functions
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance
- Develop relationships with client's Supply Chain and Procurement teams
- Ensure data is produced and used to allow effective decision making
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience of working in a similar level role
- Extensive knowledge of supply chain management and procurement developing strategies to drive leverage and performance
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Experience in developing and delivering category management
- Knowledge of datacentre Industry Procurement and Supply Chain Operations
Your Qualifications:
- Ideally have a degree in Procurement/Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Excellent Microsoft Office suite proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
- Have strong problem-solving skills and a commercial mindset to build balanced solutions and recommendations
