To support us in this mission, we are looking for a Mobile Field Engineer responsible for keeping the radio mobile network operating to the standard requirements of functionality.
The Mobile Field Engineer is responsible for conducting troubleshooting of GSM, LTE and 5G equipment on a base station and performing required action to maintain UP and running all RAN equipment, transmission equipment, DC power equipment, cooling and batteries installed on site.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Telecommunications, IT, Computer or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent;
Strong technical background in telecommunications, with experience in wireless networks (2G, 3G, 4G) and radio frequency (RF) technologies;
Availability for work at height;
Availability for on-call program;
Availability for travel arround the country;
Respecting deadlines and solving a large volume of work;
Ability to work independently, and good communication and interpersonal skills;
Ability to work under pressure;
Valid driver licence;
Knowledge of the English language is mandatory
Main activities include:
Configuring and testing radio access network and transmission equipment;
Change management - activities of adding, modifying or removing elements in the network;
Fault management - aims to restore services as quickly as possible and the functionality of the network and is realized both through the actual interventions on the sites as well as through remote interventions;
Preventive maintenance - avoiding equipment malfunctions, maintaining network performance and availability;
Corrective Maintenance - on-site repair of non-operational network elements/equipment;
Troubleshooting and resolving any issue with the AC/DC equipment on site;
Maintaining and updating RAN documentations and configurations;
Collaborating with other teams, such as Network Operations Center, Fiber optical department, site acquisition and construction department to ensure the seamless operation of the network.
