Your role:
Media Planner Benelux is responsible for the planning, execution, and tracking of media activities in the Benelux region, with a focus on digital direct-to-consumer and end-customer initiatives.
Your Responsibilities:
Media Planning
- Responsible for the full media process across the region, including both planning and performance tracking.
- Collaborate with Brand Managers to translate local brand strategies into effective media initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall marketing and business objectives across all media channels.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the media agency, providing clear briefs, challenging their proposals, and maintaining a strong working relationship to ensure seamless campaign execution.
- Share best practices and align continuously with international and global digital teams, as well as with other affiliates, to leverage global insights and maintain consistency in strategy and messaging.
- Align off-site media plans with on-site/retail media measures in close collaboration with the e-commerce team.
- Conduct joint media reviews with the Head of Marketing, Brand Managers, E-commerce Team, media agencies, and other relevant stakeholders.
Campaign Tracking
- Continuously analyze media and campaign performance, identifying areas for improvement and maximizing return on investment.
- Define campaign KPIs in collaboration with the media agency, in line with brand strategies and budget.
- Advise Brand and Marketing Managers on effective budget allocation across campaign activities.
- Ensure efficient reporting to management on campaign performance.
Operations / Other Activities
- Manage social media communities in accordance with social media and pharmacovigilance (PV) guidelines, as well as brand standards.
- Monitor media trends and emerging technologies to ensure the brand stays ahead of the curve.
- Duties may also include additional projects and responsibilities related to media planning and execution.
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
- University-level degree in Business or a comparable field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing or related fields.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in planning, developing, and executing digital direct-to-consumer media campaigns (agency or client side).
- Fluent English, advanced Dutch.
- Certifications or hands-on experience in GD360, Google Analytics, Facebook Business Manager.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):
- Experience in the FMCG sector preferred.
- Knowledge of French language is beneficial.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and leading high-performing digital programs.
- Proven ability to oversee agencies and external partners.
- Track record in Programmatic Media Buying; experience in retail media advertising is a plus.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Effective team player with experience working in cross-functional environments.
- Project management skills, including the ability to lead without formal authority.
- Customer focus and a strong sense of ownership.
- Excellent organizational abilities with the capacity to prioritize and manage multiple tasks or projects.
