The Opportunity
We're seeking Consultants to join our Payments & Cards team, where you'll help shape the future of payments and drive innovation for our clients. You'll work on high-impact projects, collaborating with clients to design and implement payment strategies, optimize card product portfolios, and improve operational efficiency.
Roles & Responsibilities
Work with cross-functional teams in Agile environments to deliver strategic projects in the Payments & Cards domain.
At the client
- Lead advisory engagements on payment strategy and card product development
- Design and oversee implementation of complex payment solutions (e.g., new schemes, processing setups, wallets)
- Drive the end-to-end launch of new card products (credit, debit, prepaid), from ideation to go-live
- Lead optimization initiatives for authorization, clearing, and settlement processes
- Evaluate and mitigate operational, fraud, and compliance risks across payment ecosystems
At NORRIQ
- Shape market analysis and regulatory monitoring to guide client strategy
- Drive internal capability building through training and mentoring junior team members
- Lead proposal development, client pitches, and strategic business development initiatives
Who you are:
You bring strong industry knowledge and the confidence to guide clients through complex challenges in the Payments & Cards space. You’re a self-starter, capable of leading both delivery and internal growth initiatives.
Your Profile:
- Master's degree (or equivalent work experience) in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
- 5-10 years of experience in treasury management, finance, payments, or a related field, preferably within the financial services industry
- Strong Project Management and/or Business Analysis skills with knowledge of the Agile methodology
- Excellent communication skills; ability to work well in cross-functional teams and engage effectively with stakeholders across the organization
- Languages: Fluent in English and French/Dutch.
