The Import/Export Administrator is closely involved in the preparation of our (inter)national projects. Within the project team the Logistical Site Administrator is responsible for the logistical & customs administration for vessels, machinery & equipment and freight & transport.
Your main tasks and responsibilities include:
- Arranging the custom import and export administration according to the European customs legislation;
- Set up and follow up on complete and correct records of all movements of goods and services that are subject to customs formalities;
- Archiving of all administrative documentation related to the transports and customs formalities;
- Coordination of all customs movements with the Project Team;
- Establishing contacts with local ship & customs agents to coordinate proper procedures.
You will work from our centralized and easily reachable offices in Aalst, Hofstade.
What do you need?
You have a Bachelor degree in Logistics or similar study domain. Alternatively, you display from previous working experience a profound knowledge on customs documentation & processes, related VAT regulations and alike. Relevant working experience is considered a plus, however fresh graduates are more than welcome to apply as well. You are flexible, independent and have a good sense of initiative.
You are a team player by nature, you are bursting with energy and you know how to tackle challenges. You set high standards for the quality of your own work and strive to improve both yourself and the organization. You have an eye for detail as well as for the complete picture. Knowledge of Dutch and English is a must, additional language(s) is a plus.
