Overview
Functional Analyst/Tester to support the Risk Management team in enhancing and validating critical applications. You will gather and analyse business requirements, translate them into clear functional specifications, and collaborate closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation. The role includes designing, executing, and maintaining comprehensive test plans focused on functional, regression, and integration testing for applications and web services. Working in an Agile environment, you will actively participate in ceremonies, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to process improvements. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, solid knowledge of risk management processes, and excellent communication skills in French or Dutch and English.
Job Responsibilities
- Work closely with stakeholders within the Risk Management team to gather, analyse, and document business requirements related to risk assessment, mitigation, and compliance.
- Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, including use cases, user stories, and process flows.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure clear understanding of requirements and facilitate smooth implementation of functional specifications.
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts specifically tailored for risk management applications.
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing focusing on the application and webservices.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Work closely with developers to reproduce and troubleshoot issues related to risk management modules.

Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies for risk management applications.
Must Have Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Functional Analyst and Tester, or similar role, preferably in risk management or related domains.
- Experience with testing methodologies, tools, and techniques applicable to risk management software.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on understanding complex business processes and system interactions.

Fluency in either French or Dutch, along with an excellent command of English.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of the Energy market.
- Experience with SpiraTest and/or Micro Focus ALM testing platforms.

Knowledge of test automation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
