With more than 9 nationalities in our team of 25+ dedicated gaming and esports experts, we support our communities and clients (brands, conventions, tournament organisers & game publishers) all across Europe and beyond, from our offices in Ghent (Belgium) and London (UK). We love games and want to share our excitement with communities around the world.
We’ve hosted 200+ events in 14+ countries, welcoming 250.000+ fans, and as a fast-growing company, we’re looking to expand even further.
We also provide the gaming industry with solutions in logistics, e-commerce, consulting, retail marketing, corporate events, etc.

YOUR ROLE
You are our anchor who is responsible for getting and keeping our finances and bookkeeping up to date.
YOUR TASKS
Finance
- Processing invoices, expense reports and other financial documents
- Preparation and dispatch of invoices
- Debtor management
- Assist in complying with tax regulations and obligations
Accounting
- You keep track of all incoming & outgoing invoices, and oversee the creditors and debtors balance sheet at all times.
- You make sure our financial records are always up to date, and work closely with our project managers to ensure the project records match accounting.
- You process all financial transactions, and make sure all payments are processed quickly, efficiently and correctly.
- You support our external accountant in submitting VAT returns by providing all needed documents.
- You are the point of contact at Fanfinity for our external accountant and VAT consultants, and report directly to CFO & CEO.
- You are a driven person and are eager to embrace a wide variety of financial challenges in a fast-growing internationally oriented company.
- Financial reports & projections? You make them, on point.
Controlling
- You check in with Project Managers to manage budget closings.
- Making sure all documents are provided by Project Managers, to close budgets financially.
- Checking if budget numbers and accounting numbers match.
WHAT YOU BRING
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Fiscality, or equivalent experience.
Knowledge:
- Languages: Fluency in English & Dutch
- IT: Slack, Google Workspace
- Game industry & community knowledge
- Accounting (VAT, basic principles)
- Experience with accounting software
- Ins & outs of bookkeeping and numbers

Professional Experience:
- Minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
