We currently have a vacancy for an Expert Product Owner fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.
Tasks
- Contribute to vision, strategy, design and implementation;
- Operate within Agile processes, guiding priorities, business value, and functionality for the Agile team;
- Propose solutions by combining BI / data analytics tools and business process improvements;
- Create, maintain, prioritize and sequence the product backlog based on business value/ROI;
- Create user stories and acceptance tests granular enough for a single sprint;
- Participate in retrospectives, sprint/release planning, demos, and other Scrum meetings;
- Review deliverable and demonstrable product version/software functionalities after every sprint;
- Organize live demonstration of the product at the end of each sprint;
- Research & Innovation: stay current with AI, ML, and LLM advances, applying them to enhance AI capabilities;
- Testing and Evaluation: Conduct rigorous testing and validation of AI models, including A/B testing, cross-validation, and error analysis.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field, combined with minimum 17 years of relevant working experience in IT;
- Experience with BI processes, governance and systems;
- Experience with LLMs and NLP, applying advanced techniques to enhance data-driven insights and user interaction;
- Experience in cloud computing platforms, including both AWS and Microsoft Azure, with a focus on scalable and secure data solutions;
- Experience in cloud analytics solutions such as Qlik Analytics in the Cloud, Azure Data Analytics and Databricks;
- Experience in designing and implementing hybrid cloud data integration architectures;
- Experience in data processing and ETL workflows;
- Experience with Application Management Lifecycle;
- Experience with Agile and good knowledge of the Agile toolbox (i.e. JIRA, Confluence, BigPicture, Gliffy, Balsamiq, etc.);
- Experience in data governance, data quality management, data integration and data analysis;
- Experience with large, enterprise-level multi-user and technologies Information Systems;
- Experience in operating within complex institutional environments;
- Understanding of ML Frameworks and libraries, facilitating the development and deployment of predictive analytics and intelligent applications;
- Knowledge of MLOps best practices and toolsets;
- One of the following certifications is required: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), SAFe Product Owner or equivalent;
- Excellent command of the English language.
