Make your mark for patients
We are looking for an E2E Project Leader – Sterile Manufacturing Investment who is visionary, results-driven, and a strong communicator to join our Large Capital Projects Delivery team, based at our UCB campus in Braine-l’Alleud, Wallonia, Belgium.
About the Role
You will lead a strategic €200M+ investment project to build a new sterile injectables manufacturing facility. You’re going to oversee the full project lifecycle—from concept to operational readiness, including qualification and regulatory approval.
Who You’ll Work With
You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering, quality, safety, operations, finance, IT, and more. You’ll act as the main interface between stakeholders and the project, reporting directly to the Head of Large Capital Investments.
What You’ll Do
- Lead project planning, initiation, and feasibility analysis
- Build and guide a high-performing, cross-functional project team
- Manage budgets, resources, and vendor relationships
- Oversee execution, governance, and project excellence
- Identify risks and resolve issues proactively
- Ensure documentation, reporting, and post-project evaluation
Interested? For this role, we’re looking for:
- Master’s degree in engineering, science, or related field
- PMP certification or equivalent strongly preferred
- 10+ years’ experience in large-scale CAPEX project management
- Expertise in sterile manufacturing and pharma environments
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera…)
