Position overview

We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and driven individual to champion our International Logistics Department! In this pivotal role, you will inspire a passionate team dedicated to operational excellence and exceptional customer service. Lead with vision as we coordinate seamless logistics within the European Distribution Organisation, integrating efforts across partners to tackle challenges head-on. Together, we will anticipate customer needs, drive operational efficiencies, and empower a responsive supply chain to boost overall satisfaction!

Tasks & Responsibilities:

In this role, you will oversee the operations of the International Logistics Department. Your focus will be on flawless logistics management and operational efficiency. As an integrator, you will work closely with our internal teams and external partners, including the CEVA customer service team, to ensure smooth operations for Affiliate/Export services and Direct distribution. Anticipating customer needs will be crucial as we navigate the dynamic market. Use innovative techniques to predict future demand and leverage analytics, collaborating across functions to create a proactive supply chain that adapts to new trends.

As a key driver of success, you will analyze performance data by partnering with reporting leads to evaluate critical financial, sales, and operational metrics. Your insights will help us transform data into actionable strategies, enhancing productivity and accelerating progress toward our goals. You'll oversee third-party logistics performance through insightful monthly reviews and build strong partnerships to maintain high service levels.

You will ensure compliance and quality monitoring for all shipments, adhering to legal regulations and internal policies such as Boycott, Embargo, SOX, FCP, and HCC. We trust you to identify opportunities for business process improvements in the affiliate/export and direct distribution areas. Use your expertise to enhance efficiency while minimizing costs and improving service levels. You will also plan, develop, implement, and maintain robust systems and procedures, ensuring that MedTech products are delivered effectively from the Courcelles distribution site to our customers.

Facilitating cross-functional communication is key! Work with MedTech business units, export teams, and Local Operating Companies to meet business requirements seamlessly. Lead our talented team of International Logistics Coordinators, fostering engagement, collaboration, and continuous improvement. In our dynamic environment, we encourage flexibility and partnership, promoting adaptability to changing market conditions and customer demands. Finally, oversee the recruitment, training, and development of new staff, creating a skilled and empowered workforce to support our mission.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience: At least 5 years in a complex, international logistics environment.

• Exceptional Leadership Skills: Proven ability to engage and inspire teams, building strong connections while prioritizing objectives.

• Customer-Focused: Commitment to customer satisfaction and innovative solutions that enhance logistics operations.

• Analytical Mindset: Passion for using data to drive strategic direction and support daily decision-making. Ability to build complex SQL queries to simplify and automate data extraction by linking multiple databases.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in advanced simulation and modeling tools for effective scenario planning and safety, quality, and cost considerations.

• Dashboard Development: Proven capability to create real-time dashboards that drive improvements on the shop floor.

• Project Management Experience: Solid background in managing multiple projects efficiently.

• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with ERP order management systems (preferably JDE 8.12) and skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

• Language Skills: Fluency in English and French is required.
