As a Brand Identity & Storytelling Specialist, you are responsible for our brand identity and consistency through the implementation of a brand strategy and the development of compelling written and visual narratives that strengthen our positioning with our audiences.
Tasks:
- Brand identity & strategy
Conduct market research through audience analysis, trends identification and benchmarking
Monitor brand performance: measure brand reputation and audience engagement across our channels
Define and enhance our brand strategy in collaboration with the Programme Director and the Marketing-Fundraising Director
Guard Greenpeace Belgium’s brand identity and consistency:
Strategic lead for Greenpeace Belgium’s visual and verbal identity (brand principles, colors, styleguide, tone of voice…)
Ensure brand consistency: make sure brand values, messaging, visuals and overall experience are consistent across all touchpoints in collaboration with our pool of content creators (marketeers, comms and fundraisers).
- Storytelling & content creation
Create compelling narratives and brand content that resonate with target audiences and enhance brand loyalty.Develop & adapt these narratives for multi- channel implementation, online (website and social media), as well as offline (direct mailings and brochures).
Create and deploy overarching narrative for Greenpeace to generate audience engagement and financial support.
Lead for direct mailings and fundraising brochures: coordinate and support content creation, translation and layout for the organizations’ printed outputs (direct mailings and brochures) for our supporter’s base.
Ensure our narratives and outputs are inclusive and intersectional.
Profile:
Experienced brand manager (3-5 years) with proven skills in developing compelling brand strategies and narratives.
Passionate storyteller with strong writing skills.
Languages :
o Dutch : mother tongue level / immaculate writing skills
o English : good knowledge
o French : knowledge is a plus
Basic graphic design skills and confidence with design tools such as Canva and Photoshop.
Do-er: put skills into practice, combine strategic and practical tasks.
Team player: you will work at the intersection of campaigning, marketing and fundraising therefore you will foster a collaborative environment based on empathy, respect and co-construction.
Demonstrate strong awareness about inclusive and intersectional communication, comfortable with topics such as anti-racism, environmental and climate justice, disability rights, gender justice and class discrimination.
